Sticky Green Delta-8 Gummies Review

You’ve probably heard of Delta 8 gummies by now.

You’ve probably even heard of Delta-100 THC by this point, but we’ll get into that in a different article that we’ll leave for later.

The point is, yes, there are a ton of different THC versions that you can consume, and no, they’re not all the same.

If that sounds confusing, worry not. We’re here to clear the air and give you a complete understanding of not only what Delta-8 gummies are but what makes for the best quality.

With Delta-8 gummies blowing up around the globe as the ‘next best thing’ after regular D9 THC gummies, we thought it would be best to discuss what Delta-8 is before we get into the nitty-gritty details of what Sticky Green Delta-8 Gummies can do.

What Is Delta-8 THC?

The wide range of cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant can make things a little confusing, especially if you’re trying to purchase a specific cannabinoid that you want to try but have 113 of them to choose from.

Perhaps the best way of understanding things would be to start from the very beginning.

Cannabinoids are the main compounds found in the cannabis plant. There are a total of 113+ identified to date, and the list seems to keep on growing by the minute. Perhaps the two most important cannabinoids in the industry are cannabidiol (CBD) and Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC).

CBD is a non-psychoactive cannabinoid primarily extracted from hemp, a non-psychoactive and federally legal crop variety of the cannabis plant.

THC is the ONLY psychoactive cannabinoid and is primarily found in the marijuana plant—the psychoactive variety of cannabis.

This doesn’t mean that THC cannot be found in hemp, and CBD cannot be found in marijuana. It just means that each one is more predominant in one of the two specific cannabis varieties.

Recently, scientists and cannabis experts have discovered a different THC version that can be extracted from hemp.

This has been a significant breakthrough in the industry because harvesting hemp is federally legal, while marijuana’s legal status will change from state to state.

In other words, companies have now found a legal way to extract THC.

Delta-9 THC is the most standard THC version and the primary reason why marijuana has been such a sought-after herb. Delta 8 THC is a chemically different version of the same cannabinoid that can also be found in significant amounts within the hemp plant.

The difference between both compounds is reduced to their chemical structure as they both have a double bond in different carbon atom positions.

What Are Delta 8 Gummies?

Delta 8 Gummies are gummies infused with Delta-8 THC.

The amount of Delta-8 THC used in each gummy will depend on the brand and regulations the company has to abide by.

Delta-8 gummies can also be infused with additional cannabinoids, other functional ingredients, and flavorings to give the product added value. The extract used to make Delta-8 gummies is extracted from hemp and can come in one of three different types:

  • Full-Spectrum Extract
  • Broad-Spectrum Extract
  • Delta-8 Isolate

The full-spectrum extract comes with a balanced mix of all cannabinoids and all other compounds found in hemp—however, only a maximum of 0.3% Delta 9 THC.

The broad-spectrum extract is the same as a full spectrum product but has 0% Delta 9 THC.

Delta-8 Isolate is a type of extract that ONLY contains Delta-8 THC.

Sticky Green Delta 8 Gummies Review

Sticky Green makes 15 pc jars of gummies infused with high-end Delta 8 Hemp extract. Each gummy contains 50mg Delta 8 THC and is made with 100% natural ingredients. This means each resealable container comes with a total of 750mg of D8 THC.

The extract used to make Sticky Green Delta 8 Gummies is full-spectrum hemp extract with less than 0.3% Delta 9 THC. A combination of traits that makes this product legal in the U.S.

Sticky Green Delta 8 Gummies feel extremely potent at first touch and pay tribute to their name, actually feeling a little bit sticky and chewy. While chewy, these gummies are still easy to bite instead of sticking to your teeth.

Another highlight is that they don’t dissolve in your mouth in a crumbly and unpleasant way like many other cheap gummy products tend to.

We were also satisfied with the packaging and how easy it was to open and close it, but we would have loved to see a darker packaging that keeps the gummies a bit more shaded and protected from indirect sunlight.

Sticky Green Flavors

You can get Sticky Green Delta-8 Gummies in four different flavor varieties, which is great if you can’t stick to a single flavor like us. Flavor options include Strawberry, Passion Fruit, Mango, and Green Apple.

All flavor options are made with 100% natural ingredients, and all have a strong smell upon first opening the jar. Our favorite was the Green Apple flavor. If you’re a fan of sweet and sour combinations, then Green Apple or Passion Fruit is the way to go. We liked Green Apple the most because it feels the most like a traditional gummy flavor.

Sticky Green Delta 8 Gummies Effects

It’s safe to say that Sticky Green Delta-8 Gummies are some of the most potent edibles infused with D8 that we carry on Hemmfy.com. 50mg is a strong dose of anything, including CBD, so a whole gummy is probably best left to experienced users. If you’re starting with edibles, we would suggest trying half a gummy or even less to test out your tolerance first before going ‘all in.’

In our trial run, we experienced an intense feeling of relaxation and anxiety relief in the beginning. Some users reported appetite stimulation, but that’s something I can’t seem to feel with edibles for some reason. However, this might be different for you.

As the time passed, the intense feelings of relaxation faded into a sleepy sensation that helped me doze off into a nap. I wouldn’t suggest these gummies to be used as a sleep aid, but I definitely would say they helped me fall asleep.

Hemmfy articles and blogs are meant to entertain and educate. However, we are not medical professionals and do not intend to give medical advice through them.

The knowledge around CBD and other cannabis-derived products is growing and constantly changing, as does their legal status. Hence, we recommend checking with your local authorities and a licensed physician prior to consumption.
