How to Vaporize CBD Oil

If you’re a cannabis rookie or veteran, regardless of its strain, chances are you inhaled smoke.

Besides edibles, cannabis consumption has historically been limited to smoking.

In recent years, the industry has expanded to include consumers who want the ritual of smoking without the smoking part.

That’s where vaporizers and CBD vape oil come into play.

What Is a CBD Vaporizer?

Vaping as an alternative to smoking began in the tobacco and nicotine industry. The idea was to give frequent smokers a method of inhaling nicotine without having to inhale the carcinogens produced from burning tobacco.

The only obstacle was finding a way to vaporize the nicotine without charring the tobacco leaves. This is how vape juice and nicotine salts came into existence.

Vape juice is concentrated liquid nicotine that can be derived from tobacco or other sources. Because it is a liquid, by definition, it can be vaporized when it reaches its boiling point.

Vape pens were the first vaporizers to hit the market. Vape pens are battery-operated metallic devices with small tanks containing vape juice. The tanks gradually administer the liquid onto a cotton-covered coil that is then heated by the battery, vaporizing the oil.

Since the launch of the vape pen, the vaporizer market has evolved enormously to provide extensive ranges of vape pens, disposables, pre-filled vape carts, and dry herb vaporizers.

This concept later was applied to the cannabis industry. By subjecting the hemp plant to heat and pressure, manufacturers create CBD vape oil. This oil can then be used to fill the device and generate inhalable cannabis extract vapor. This substance is commonly referred to as CBD vape oil.

Nevertheless:

There are several ways to vaporize CBD. A CBD vaporizer may be designed to work with vape juice, and in some cases,  dry hemp flower.

Can You Vape CBD Oil?

CBD can be processed to produce e-juice that can be used with a CBD oil vaporizer. As long as the VG/PG ratio of the final blend can be customized to the vaporizer, then vaping CBD should not be a challenge.

How to Vape CBD Oil

There are two main methods to vape CBD oil.

1)  Using an oil rig designed with a basin-like structure called a banger. An oil rig is similar to a bong or water pipe, only this design uses a banger instead of a bowl. The banger is heated with a blow torch and then the CBD oil is applied while the user inhales through the opposite end.

2)  A CBD vaporizer: a vape pen with a battery that heats the CBD vape oil to the point it is converted into vapor.
